Supporter & Donation Terms

1. Nature of Contributions

1.1. These Supporter & Donation Terms ("Donation Terms") govern any voluntary financial contribution, tip, sponsorship, or gift (each a "Contribution") made by you to Anton Sergachev ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our") to support the maintenance and evolution of the Slysh! software project.

1.2. Purely Voluntary Gift: Any Contribution you make is an unconditional, non-commercial gratuity made at your sole discretion without legal compulsion.

2. No Quid Pro Quo & Free Software Continuity

2.1. No Consideration or Commercial Sale: Contributions do NOT constitute consideration for goods, commercial software licenses, custom development, technical consulting, or ongoing maintenance services.

2.2. No Preferential Rights: Making a Contribution does NOT grant you:

• Any equity, ownership, intellectual property rights, or governance power in the Slysh! project;
• Any contractual entitlement to future feature implementations, bug fixes, or roadmap priority;
• Any dedicated service-level agreement (SLA), private customer support, or technical warranty.

2.3. Slysh! Remains Free for Everyone: Slysh! is designed as an accessible, open tool. All core features remain free of charge and fully functional regardless of whether you choose to make a Contribution.

3. Tax Status & Non-Deductibility

3.1. Individual Independent Developer: The Developer operates as an independent natural person and is NOT a registered charity, non-profit organization, or tax-exempt entity under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code, the United Kingdom Charities Act, or any corresponding national tax frameworks.

3.2. Not Tax-Deductible: Your Contributions are NOT tax-deductible as charitable donations in any jurisdiction. You bear sole responsibility for verifying the tax implications of your Contributions under your local tax laws.

4. Finality & Non-Refundable Policy

4.1. Strictly Non-Refundable: ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE FINAL, COMPLETE, AND STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE.

4.2. Waiver of Revocation: By completing a Contribution, you expressly agree that the transaction is completed immediately and you waive any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period under applicable consumer protection legislation.

5. Prohibition of Fraudulent Chargebacks

5.1. You agree not to initiate abusive, bad-faith, or fraudulent payment reversals, cancellations, or credit card chargebacks through your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider (such as PayPal or Stripe) regarding any completed Contribution.

5.2. In the event of an unauthorized or fraudulent charge on your account, you must report the issue promptly to your payment provider under their official fraud prevention guidelines.

6. Third-Party Payment Processors

6.1. All Contributions are processed through independent third-party payment platforms, including GitHub Sponsors, PayPal, and international payment processors.

6.2. No Storage of Financial Credentials: The Developer never receives, processes, or stores your credit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account credentials. All financial data is handled strictly by the respective payment processor under their security standards (PCI-DSS compliant) and independent privacy policies.

7. Governing Law & Contact Information

7.1. These Donation Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Developer’s jurisdiction of domicile, without regard to conflict of law rules.
